Steel, magnets, paper pulp and sumi ink

A series of sculptures inspired by the Sentinel missions—satellites tasked with monitoring sea-surface topography and environmental change. The term Sentinel also signifies a guard or soldier standing watch. Marbled paper sculptures, suggesting organic forms like mushrooms, lily pads, or islands, rest on steel structures functioning as technological roots. These works explore this duality, merging natural wonder with mechanical vigilance, while challenging perceptions of scale.
